Tummy Tuesday...

Gosh it seems strange to be pawing what will probably be my last "Tummy Tuesday" for a while, if all goes as planned I'll have myself a litter of ickle baby kittens this time next week and it'll be "Milkbar Monday" or "Titty Tuesday" ;) *giggle*

The kittens are very active at present and my belly has been expanding yet further, much to the delight of my brother Ramses and our housemate Tigmut'hep! Honestly Mancats can be such a pain at times... *humph!* For a start I hear Ramses is planning on catching the Stork when he comes to deliver my kittens, he keeps on about how much meat is on a Stork and how many mancats a single Stork could feed... At least he's promised me a good big of Stork iffen he catches it! :)

Tigmut'hep on the other hand is just making fun of my size and ever increasing appetite! He keeps referring to me as Miss Piggy for a start, but it's what he's done to one of my photos that has me most cross with him... Never fear he's in for a good "bop" as soon as I've had a snooze and a little snack or two! :)

Other than that everything is great here and Mummy and Dad have my kittening box in there room with food, water and litter facilities on hand for me too! :) I made the most of sleeping with Mummy and Dad last night and snuggles against Mummy's feet all night, it was lovely and warm... :)

Tummy Tuesday...

Today is my second to last Tummy Tuesday before the kittens are due! Isn't that just amazing... :) In just 2 more weeks I'll have a litter of ickle baby Abys all lined up at my milk bar feeding their lovely little faces on the good stuff! ;)

I just hope that by then Dad's stopped trying to explode his own face and that he doesn't make Mummy sick in the mean time! A sick Mummy this close to my having kittens would be BAD! :(

Today Mummy's gone through her list of stuff to have ready for the kittens birth and/or just after it. Most of the stuff is now in a big bag on the table downstairs ready for Mummy to bring up here! She's also made a fleece cover for my new heating pad, a little washable mattress for the kittens so they can be comfy when she weighs them twice a day and a blanket to use as a backdrop for kitten photos... All I've done while watching Mummy be busy was lay on my back and show her my belly as it moved thanks to little paws pushing at me! ;)

Mummy also bought me some interesting looking new kitty litter that soaks up kitty pee totally and doesn't smell at all. She says it's non tracking too, so that's what I'll have in my upstairs little litter box when the kittens arrive. This will save me having to leave the kittens to go to the litter box, I'll even get my dinners served to me up here! I'm starting to think I'm getting better treatment than ladybeans get when they have people kittens... ;)

Having Dad home sick with Manflu has had one benefit, he found a lot of my little feather butt mice for me under the sofa! Plus I think he could be persuaded to get my zoom groom out and give me a good grooming if I ask him often enough, though I'd settle for him opening my bikky pot again too! ;) It seems Mummy finks there's a downside to my having lotsa feather butt mice again, I'm not sure why? I only wanted to show her 1 or 2 at 3am and play with them in bed between her legs so they didn't escape again! ;)

Tummy Tuesday Tea Party!!!!

Well hello everykitty! :) I'm so pleased that you're all here for my first Tea Party... Please make yourself comfortable on the sofa, chaise lounge or stool - there is also a large soft cushion in the corner and 2 large cat beds for those who prefer! :) Oh and there are plenty of throws for those ladycats who feel the cold easily...

Help yourself to some of the delicious tea; Twinings Breakfast Blend is my personal favourite at present! :) Though we have peach and redcurrent, lime and ginger, fennel, green and jasmine teas for those who prefer something a little more exotic... I believe my loyal Lady in Waiting, the lovely Miss Peach is coming over with a little of her excellent catnip tea in a bit and maybe a few others for you all to try! :)

There's plenty of nice nibbly food on the table, turkey terrine, poached prawns in a delightful fish broth, a vast array of kitty bikky, including some delightful organic varieties in very pleasing shapes! There is a catnip jelly with thick kitty milk for pudding too, so don't over indulge on the savouries... ;) I'm sorry to say we have to go without kitty paella as I was a little over excited in waking Mummy up and managed to stick one of my claws into her leg with all my weight behind it (while trying to rescue the mousie I took up for her to play with...) - the end result being that Mummy woke everyone in the house up screaming as a result of my claw... :( Apparently being woken up with a claw shoved into ones soft inner thigh is grossly inappropriate iffen you want that self same person to spend the morning cooking for you... ;) Well at least I've learnt that lesson before I have the kittens here, I guess I had better teach them this most valuable of lessons before letting them leave home?! ;)

Oh and before I forget any ladycat wishing to play for a bit can join my brother Ramses and our housemate Tigmut'hep with all the Mancats in the cat run! They are showing everyone our nearly completed kitty condo, so do take a quick look...

Tummy Tuesday!

It's amazing how fast these Tummy Tuesdays come around! My tummy is certainly growing with each week now and when Mummy weighed me on Sunday afternoon, I weighed in at 3.6Kg - that's nearly 1/2 Kg more than I normally weigh... Mummy tells me that this week and next are when the kittens grow the most, so it makes sense that I'm very hungry and have gained a lot of weight!

This time next week the kittens should each be about 6cm long, where as they were only 2.5cm long the other week! Mummy estimates that they're about the size of large walnuts about now... :) Though I'm still running around and playing like normal, including climbing the sides of the run!

I've noticed that I don't like some things I used to like eating, and want to eat a lot of other things that I normally wouldn't bother with - such as Ox liver that Mummy's started to cook for me a few times a week! :) It's delicious cut up small and mixed with my usual kitten food - personally I like it best with my chicken flavour pouches!

Mummy's being very good about remembering to give me my kitty tea every lunchtime (that's cat milk with a little added hot water, to make the whole thing slightly warm to drink), it tastes so nice and creamy and I'm happy to suck down a good portion of it. Though I still leave a few drips for my lovely brother Ramses to clean up for me - well it's so sad to see a Mancat cry! ;)

The other thing I've noticed is that I'm feeling the need for more fussing and attention than normal... As such I threw myself at Mummy and Dad as soon as the alarm went off this morning! In face I kept Mummy pinned down for a good long fussing and nearly made everyone late for breakfast... ;)

Tummy Tuesday!

Well it's that time of week again, yes Tummy Tuesday's here and it seems I've been gaining weight! Well, I guess with everything I've been stuffing in my face over the past few weeks, it shouldn't come as a shock - but I've never weighed more then 3.2Kg in my life before now! Yes folks I'm now up to 3.4Kg and Mummy's right if I look at myself carefully in the mirror I can see a bit of a curve where there wasn't one before! I do so hope that Napoleon doesn't mind the fuller figured girlycat! ;)

It's nearly the end of week 4 of my pregnancy and as such I'm close to half way through it! This seems amazing, especially as Mummy read me some more of my kitty pregnancy book to me yesterday and I've found out that the kittens will be about 2.5cms in length by now and soon have all their vital organs in place! :)

I gather that over the next 2 weeks the kittens will be needing a lot of fuel for growth, so Mummy bought me some yummy Ox Liver last night and cooked it up for me special! :) I'm allowed a little bit cut up in my evening meal from now on, as well as my afternoon yoghurt or yoghurt and egg if I'm extra hungry! Oh and I'm being good and taking all my pregnancy vitamins and minerals - maybe this is because Mummy got me some yummy vitamin and mineral paste I can lick! ;) It's just so tasty and is good for kittens too once they start to wean...

Sorry for being shy about having my belly photographed, but I'm being a little touchy about it right now... Mummy assures me that I'll get over this in time and says she'll try hard to get me in a nice relaxed mood for a photo session soon. I just hope she's packing treats! ;)

Tummy Tuesday!

Well this is the Tummy Tuesday that you'z all been waiting for, and I'z pleased to announce to each and everykitty that I'z "pinked up", which means I'z defiantly pregnant! :) Oh yes, I'z gotted my belly all full of kittens with a little help from Dan and they'z all about the size of hazelnuts about now...

This means that they're due on or about March 8th, so I'z got to do a lot of kitten percolating over the next 6 weeks to get them to the right size! ;) To this end I'z been busy stuffing my face with all sorts of yummy food, including doing a very good number on yoghurt pot cleaning last night... Well a queen's got to keep her strength up and I'z heard of a lot worse pregnancy cravings than for blueberry and strawberry yoghurt! ;) I'z now onto the Greek yoghurt, along with extra helpings of kitten food and all the bikky I can cram into my mouth...

Ok, so watching me eat at present wouldn't give you'z all the right impression of my breeding and general regal nature - but I'z just so darned hungry and I'z afraid that the bikky might get away from me iffen I'z don't put my feet in my bikky bowl! ;) So just shut your eyes and turn your head when I'z at my food bowl for now Napoleon and you'z better reconsider taking me for that candle light meal for two on Valentines Day as I'z likely to eat my dinner, your dinner and then start raiding the kitchen for scraps! ;) That all you can eat buffet is looking more and more like a good deal... :)

Oh well I'z off to put my paws up for a bit and let my breakfast go down... Maybe I'll let Mummy take a picture of my tummy iffen she can get me while I'z all full and sleepy... Until then, this is all I'll let Mummy get a shot of!

Is that Food I See?

Tummy Tuesday...

Well it's my second tummy Tuesday and I'z pleased to say that I'z managed to gain all the weight back that I'd lost while away at Stud! Mummy's very pleased about this as she was a little concerned, especially as I'z not had much of an appetite over the last week or so. This however has changed a little over the last few days and I'z been pretty hungry and scoffing down my breakfast and dinners in pretty much record time! ;) I'z even been nibbling at Ramses and Tigmut'hep's meals...

I'z been sleeping well at night though, snuggled up between Mummy's feet and keeping myself nice and warm. Mummy seems to fink I'z napping a little more than usual, but I'z not sure... But I'z certainly been feeling very loving towards Mummy, Dad and d'boy!

Also I'z had a little look at Mummy's kitty pregnancy book and realize that in just over a week from now, I'z should be able to tell iffen I'z gotted my belly all full of kittens from Dan! :) Right now iffen I'z got kittens they'z just the size of ickle green peas, but by the time I'z should be "pinking up" d'kittens should be hazelnut size! From dis point it'll only take d'kittens about 6 weeks to get big enough to wanna come out and play... I'z certainly looking forward to having 'em here to clean and snuggle with! :)

Tummy Tuesday...

From now until I'z has d'kittens I'z going to post a Tummy Tuesday post here... Dat way you'z can hear what my tummy is up to and maybe even see pictures of it when it starts growing and looking interesting! ;) For now it's just a normal looking Aby girl tummy, and I'z cleaned all the furs carefully so it looks nice. I'z a little sleepy since I'z came home, but that's probably because I'z didn't get all that much sleep when I was away... *blush*giggle* I'z didn't eat much either so I'z losted a little bit of weight, so Mummy's making sure I eat my dinners like a good girl and making sure she remembers to put my lunchtime cat milk down for me! I'z just love my milk and iffen I'z act cute maybe I'z can get some eggy too... :)

I'z been helpin' Mummy look for all the kitten care stuff I'll need to make sure my ickle kittens are well looked after and safe at all times. I'z very picky about what's good enough for my little ones after all now that I'z a Queen my ickle ones will be Princes and Princesses... :) I'z got them some exploration toys for when they'z about 4-6 weeks old and can't wait to play with them and the new toys! But I'z gotta be patient and wait for dem to grow and that's reminded me I'z require a little milk and maybe another nap...
