Minicat Monday!

Yes it's me Setra, pinching mummy's blogspot just for now to tell you my latest saying! Both of my Mummy's (the furry one with all the milk and lovely, cuddly food lady Mummy), think I have Uncle Ramses gift of deep thinking, especially for one so young... :)

PS: Uncle Ramses is still not very well, but doesn't seem to be loosing any more weight at the moment. Mummy keeps giving him all his nasty meds though and he's eating a bit more each day, or so it seems... However he's still one very sick kitty! :(

Mummycat Monday...

Happy 1st Birthday Dandy, Delta-Peach, Django and Dizzy

Wow, can you believe that my first babies are now all cats?! It's amazing to see how much they have grown over the year and wonderful to see how well they are looking (above Dandy and Delta-Peach age 1 yr).

While here my latest kittens are turning 3 weeks old and are starting to get a hang of this walking thing! ;) Honestly it's quite amusing to watch them and I've seen Mummy, Daddy and D'Boy giggling quite a bit when one of the kittens does something funny too - though being their mother I have to do my best not to laugh at their efforts - at least while they can see and hear me! ;) So as you can imagine I occasionally have to make a quick exit from the room in order to keep myself from doing so. In fact Ramses finds he has to do the same, so we've made a bit of a game out of it! :) Above you can see BG doing her best to get into a good position for pouncing the camera, where as little LG is a star model and just sits there happily while having her photo taken! Where as Boy keeps trying to walk off every time Mummy tries to take a photo of him, even when asked nicely to stay still or sit. However he's always first in line when cuddles are being handed out and has never been known to be late for dinner at the milk bar and unlike his sisters, he never falls asleep during a meal! He is now therefore a good 20g's heavier than either of his sisters... Well he does seem to have his father's paws on him, so I expect he'll be a big boy when he's all grown up like his half-brothers are! :)

Anyway today I'm a very proud Mummy to all 7 of my babies, whether they are tiny and here or all grown up and off living with their own families! :)

Super Saturday!

Oh what a wonderful day it has been, I have the makings of a really wonderful bit of investigative reporting to share with you once I have had sufficient beauty sleep! To add to that I had 3 more BIG FIRST's today!!!!

Yes, I won the first of the 3 Certificates that I need to make me an Official Champion today, as well as wining Best of Breed - meaning I was the very best Aby at the Show today! :) This was utterly amazing as two of my friends from Silversmoke were there and they both won huge milestone Certificates making one a Grand Champion and the other an Imperial Grand Premier as of today. To round off a wonderful day, Mummy took me to have my photo taken by a proper professional photographer! That's right I did proper professional modeling and was brillaint at it - all those tips from Daisy really have paid off and I wowed the photographer as well as Mummy and Dad! :) Now I just have to count the days until the photos arrive!!! :)

Oh and Mummy ordered herself a little handbag to be made with a photo of me printed on it, so she can show all the World her utter devotion to me! :)

I so liked Yao-lin's Mum eer Slave that I let her take phones of me with some of my nice new ribbons. Though since I understand she likes food just as much, if not more than Yau-lin, I have left him a detailed message as to the contents of his "Care Package" we sent home with her, so that he can question her if she arrives home full, while his "Care Package" is missing certain items... ;) Well you do have to be careful when dealing with sensative items like food around most humans - I put my Mummy's own acceptance of the fact that she can never ear a whole steak without feeling the overwhelming urge to share it with all us cats down to her being well trained by her Meezer queen many, many years ago. For this we are all greatful to Meezerkind in general, as you may imagain! However, I will not let this fact cloud my journalistic integraty and I shall soon report to you in great depth about the deep suffering poor Yau-lin puts up with on a daily basis...

Oh and the gorgeous pin-up photos of Yao-lin and the nice box of cute dressing up fashions that the generous and lovely Yao-lin sent us to play with will have no affect either, nor the primo 'nip he sent for Tigmut'hep (even getting him his most favoured brand). Oh no I am strictly professional in all my dealings as you shall all see very soon! :)

Now hurry up and take some photos of my new medal and purrty ribbons Mummy so I can show all my friends...

Tummy Tuesday Tea Party!!!!

Well hello everykitty! :) I'm so pleased that you're all here for my first Tea Party... Please make yourself comfortable on the sofa, chaise lounge or stool - there is also a large soft cushion in the corner and 2 large cat beds for those who prefer! :) Oh and there are plenty of throws for those ladycats who feel the cold easily...

Help yourself to some of the delicious tea; Twinings Breakfast Blend is my personal favourite at present! :) Though we have peach and redcurrent, lime and ginger, fennel, green and jasmine teas for those who prefer something a little more exotic... I believe my loyal Lady in Waiting, the lovely Miss Peach is coming over with a little of her excellent catnip tea in a bit and maybe a few others for you all to try! :)

There's plenty of nice nibbly food on the table, turkey terrine, poached prawns in a delightful fish broth, a vast array of kitty bikky, including some delightful organic varieties in very pleasing shapes! There is a catnip jelly with thick kitty milk for pudding too, so don't over indulge on the savouries... ;) I'm sorry to say we have to go without kitty paella as I was a little over excited in waking Mummy up and managed to stick one of my claws into her leg with all my weight behind it (while trying to rescue the mousie I took up for her to play with...) - the end result being that Mummy woke everyone in the house up screaming as a result of my claw... :( Apparently being woken up with a claw shoved into ones soft inner thigh is grossly inappropriate iffen you want that self same person to spend the morning cooking for you... ;) Well at least I've learnt that lesson before I have the kittens here, I guess I had better teach them this most valuable of lessons before letting them leave home?! ;)

Oh and before I forget any ladycat wishing to play for a bit can join my brother Ramses and our housemate Tigmut'hep with all the Mancats in the cat run! They are showing everyone our nearly completed kitty condo, so do take a quick look...

First Birthday Friday! :)

Tomorrow I'z turn 1 year old and I'z going to be a big girl! :) I'z very excited at the fact I'z going to get more presents... I'z so fond of my 'nip pillow, maybe I'z getting another one?! ;)

I'z gotted lotsa toy mice with d'feather butts that look so purrty in my stocking and a comfort cushion which Mummy can heat up for me and has tassels I can put the bitey on as well as a wonderful feather wand toy! Oh and I'z gotted treats too and some very yummy Mummy cooked mixed game terrine with carrot in it... 'S very yummy! :) It haded vishus deer, bunny, pigeon, pheasant and partridge in it - oh and I'z gotted some yummy roasty beef too! :) Mummy was so impressed that I was a big girl and chewed up my beef bits and didn't insist on her making them into mush for me... Well I'z purrty much growed up now so I'z gotta do things like a big growed up girl kitty! :)

Anyway it's just one more sleep (or 47 cat naps) until I'z a big girl... I'z so excited! Mummy's helpin' me make sure I'z got all d'bits I'll need here with I'z gotted my kittens... I'z gotted a nice safe place for having my kittens, some nice fuzzy blankets and heating pads for keepin' dem warm... Mummy has to get some human made kitten milk in just in case I'z don't make lotsa milk for my kittens and she's gotta send off for some special cleaning wipes to make sure d'kittens is safe from nasty germs! Oh and I hear she's going to get dem a playpen to play in when they'z big enough to want to get outta d'bed... Just fink of all dos lovely ickle kitten ears I'z can clean out! All dos lovely ickle fluffy bellies to clean and kiss! Oh I'z so lookin' forward to being a Momma cat! :)

Oh Napoleon just fink of what you'z missin' out on by having your dangly bits removed... You'z goin' to need some good nursing for a few days after, but just remember I'z not going to be kissin' it all better! :P But I'z hear your ears need a good clean... ;)
